Privacy

1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is the operator of Hotel Neusalza, Talstraße 6, 02742 Neusalza-Spremberg, Germany.

2. In short

This website sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, uses no tracking or analytics and embeds no third-party content. Fonts and images are loaded from our own web space; there are no links to third-party websites. There is no contact form and no customer account. Personal data is only processed as technically required to deliver the pages – and if you send us an email yourself.

3. Visiting the website (hosting and server logs)

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA) and delivered through its server network. Each time you visit, Vercel processes technically necessary data: your IP address, date and time, the address requested, the previous page (referrer), browser and operating system details, the status code and the amount of data transferred. This is needed to deliver the pages, detect errors and fend off attacks.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Vercel is certified, and on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. The logs are kept only as long as needed for operation and security and are then deleted. We do not analyse them ourselves or combine them with other data.

4. Contacting us by email

If you send us an email, we process your address, your name and the content of your message in order to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message concerns a contract or steps towards one (for example a booking or a celebration), otherwise our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete messages once they have been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations (for example under commercial and tax law) require otherwise.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing of your data based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal message to the address above is enough.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority responsible for us: the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner (Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte), Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden, Germany.

6. Further information

You are not obliged to provide any data; however, the website cannot be displayed without the technically necessary connection data. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
